The immigration office strongly recommends school group applications
For School Group Applications
•
No reservation is needed when applying through the school’s group application.
•
Applications can be submitted between mid-September and early October.
•
Residence Cards for group applications will be processed and issued ahead of individual applications.
•
Please carefully review the details below and click the APPLY button to proceed if you wish to apply through the group application.
For Individual Applications
•
When applying on your own at the Immigration Office, you need to make a reservation.
•
You can only make reservations and apply at the immigration office with jurisdiction over your school or residence area. Currently, reservations are only available in November.
•
If you apply in November, your Residence Card is likely to be issued in December.
•
Additionally, the immigration office might not accept individual applications.
Eligible Visa to apply
•
Only D-2 visa holders can apply (excluding D-2-5).
•
Applications can only be made within 90 days from the date of entry into Korea.

Precautions
When uploading documents

All documents can only be submitted as scanned files with a scanner or app, not photographed.
If you take unclear pictures, your documents might be rejected by the immigration office. Please submit only scanned files.

Membership subscription is an option that also covers the RC issuance fee.

You don’t have to maintain a membership subscription for RC.
◦
Even if you cancel your subscription after the initial payment, RC issuance will be processed normally until issuance is completed.
One-off option

41,000 KRW

If you choose alternative payment methods, additional usage fees will be charged upon membership signup, and fees won't be refunded
1. Residence Documents
You must submit your residence documents for a contract period of 60 days or more from the supplementary deadline. so that you do not have to move during the application period.

Photos edited with Photoshop or photos taken by a camera with editing functions are considered forged and cannot be used as ID photos for an RC.
Only original electronic files taken at photo studios are accepted.
