Required documents and Application fee

1. Residence Documents

The lease agreement must specify the lease start date (move-in date) as occurring after the tenant's entry date into the South Korea.

*If an extension is required due to Bachelor’s (D2-2) → Master's (D2-3); Master's (D2-3) → Doctor's (D2-4) You have to apply within the period 2025.02.26. 9:00 ~ 2025.03.17. 18:00

Application Process(1 Step ~ 4 Step)

1.
Click the APPLY button and follow the process (upload the document).

Hirevisa will send you an email after confirming your application for an extension. If you need to supplement it, please look at the contents of the email carefully and supplement it.
3.
Please wait for the email from immigration.
4.
Once all the procedures have been completed, you can receive an extension authorization confirmation by e-mail. * The extension confirmation file has a legal effect.
5.
The Office of International Cooperation at Chonnam National University will inform students to submit their residence cards to the university. The collected residence cards will be submitted to the Gwangju Immigration Office for the update of expiration date on the back, and then will be redistributed to the students.
